I actually find this kind of article funny. If I eat something unhealthy, I like to enjoy it without having to think about how much exercise I have to do to burn the it off. Having said that, it does put the unhealthy food in perspective in terms of what it’s worth in regards to exercise and not just an abstract amount of calories:
Chris, a gym mate, told me that his trousers were really beginning to piss him off. He had to keep pulling them up, even finding it embarrassing at times. Chris has recently lost weight causing his now loose trousers to keep on falling slightly. He asked if it was time to buy new ones yet. Chris, mate, it is bloody time to enjoy it. Congratulations!! For the moment, you should be enjoying every time your trousers slip. Yes it’s a nuisance, but it should be celebrated as an achievement. It’s probably best not to go all out and buy a new wardrobe because at the rate you’re going, it won’t be long before you need to buy another. For the time being, it’s an achievement and should be celebrated as one!!
